I've never been secretive about the fact my style is 75% goth bruja. I try to for the most part keep that to only 10 - 15% of a room to keep it from being kitschy and halloween-y. The other 25% of my style is more glitzy and glam. That occupies about 30 - 40% of the rooms I design. The rest I like to divide between neutrals and maybe the occasional 5% accent color.
However, for our bathroom I threw those ratios in the trash and let myself have the most glam goth room I could want. It is such a small space, and I LOVE every piece that I've chosen for it. That is why I consider it perfect and completely done.
The only way I would consider making changes, is if in our new house our bathroom is bigger.
If the bathroom is bigger I'd be open to a little refresh so consider this less of a makeover, and more of a sprucing-up.
I love our black towels from target they are the bath sheet size and when we went to get more they had discontinued the black so we bought grey. I actually enjoy the lightness it brings to our utility cart. This might be the only time I'll go on record saying black might have been the wrong chose. THESE are the towels, so so soft and we love the bath sheet size.
I also LOVE our utility cart from IKEA, I've honestly dreamed about owning one for YEARS and was so thankful that I finally moved close enough to an IKEA to own one, but sometimes it doesn't feel like enough storage. So I like THIS over the toilet storage system.
The wall art that hangs in our bathroom and again, I love, I bought from homegoods after halloween and the canvas is actually turning yellow. I'm searching for a million ways to fix it because I honestly do love it. If it can't be salvaged I'll probably frame THIS print in THIS chunky frame.
The one thing I don't love in our bathroom is our bathmat, SO ugly, but it is memory foam, so its soft. I can't wait to upgrade to THIS one. I like the texture that it will add to the room.
So that's it, quick and easy, just a little freshening up!
*oh and here's a link to my shower curtain on amazon. There's a thousand skull curtains but I've had mine two years and I really love it!
